Joshua Cobbett Obituary
It is with heavy hearts the family of Joshua (Josh) David Cobbett announce his passing on November 26, 2024, in Fredericton NB. Josh was born in Saint John NB on August 9, 1984. He is the son of Richard and Brenda (Eastwood) Cobbett. Aside from is parents Josh is survived by his brother Jonathan Cobbett (Amy Rennie), sister Erin O’Kane (Richard), his partner Megan Ginson, son Foster and stepchildren Ryker Tompkins, Raelynn Ginson and Brianna Coburn. He also adored his nieces and nephews Julia Cobbett. Brenden O’Kane, Gail O’Brien (Aaron), Jamie O’Kane (Chantal) and Madilyn Roach. Josh was predeceased by his grand parents Marion and Karl Eastwood and Constance and Frank Cobbett.
Josh loved the outdoors where he could often be found fishing, hunting, canoeing and even white-water canoeing with his father. He especially enjoyed spending time with his kids, Josh was hilarious and funny and had a big heart. He was a hard worker and loved his job at Star Lite Construction working and forming many friendships especially with his boss Fred. Through his years he made specials bonds along the way, especially those he felt were like family, Rico, Angie, Bella, Miguel, Anne, Jeff and Brady and I am sure there are a few others we are missing.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road, (506-646-2424). A celebration of life will take place in the Fundy Funeral Home reception hall on Saturday November 30,2024 at 2:00 pm. Donations in Josh’s memory can be made to the Charity of the donor’s choice.
