Obituary of John Seymour Bright
It is with great sadness that the family of John Seymour Bright announces his passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, December 27, 2024. Born in Blacks Harbour, NB, on August 29, 1953, he was the son of the late Tom and Jean (Brooks) Bright.
John went to high school in Goose Bay, where he met his first wife, Sheila and many other friends. He played hockey, baseball and enjoyed bowling in his younger years.
John leaves behind his children, Jason Bright, Jamie Bright, Kerry Ayles (Tyler Hogan); grandchildren, Georgette, Leland, Clara, Kennedy, Kira, Odin, Hudson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Sheila (Lethbridge) Bright, and his second wife, Anita Ayles.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). With visitation on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held from the Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Donations in memory of John may be made to MADD.
