Jeffrey Graham Cosgrove Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jeffrey Graham Cosgrove announce his passing that occurred Monday December 25th, 2023 at Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born April 6, 1967 he was the son of John and Pauline (Boyd) Cosgrove of Saint John and husband to Victoria (Sowers) Cosgrove of Hampton.
Jeffrey enjoyed many of his days hiking, kayaking and exploring with his wife and beloved dog, Birdie. He was known for having a sharp wit, tenacious attitude, and strong spirit. An avid music lover, bird watcher, carpenter, and coach, Jeff loved making others laugh and spending time with his family. Jeffrey was deeply proud to devote nearly 33 years of service to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, including his last post as Senior Operational Skills Instructor for the J Division Tactical Training Section. His final workplace and program will be remembered as “The house that Jeff built”. Jeffrey will be cherished forever as an incredible husband, father, son, brother, friend, mentor, and much more.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife Victoria, daughter Aaron Cosgrove (Delia Sousa) of Halifax, son Ethan Cosgrove (Mara Broad) of Saint John, mother Pauline, and sister Meredith LeBlanc (Marc Leblanc) of Saint John.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John New Brunswick. A funeral service will be held on Friday January 5th at 10am. Donations can be made to the NPF Benevolent Foundation in Jeffrey’s memory.
