Elizabeth Chapman Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth Ruth Chapman, loving wife of Keith Chapman, wish to announce her passing which occurred on December 28, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Upper Kent, NB, June 19, 1937, to the late William and Jewell (Salmon) Gaunce.
Elizabeth took great pride in her home and gardening. She enjoyed the company of her friends and their Wednesday afternoon Bridge Club.
Besides her husband Keith, she is survived by her son Graham, daughter Ann Emerson (David), sister Dorothy Jean Kinney (Howard), grandchildren, Thomas, Norah, Dennis, Evelyn, and Valerie, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, William and Jewell (Salmon) Gaunce, brothers; Harry, Charles, Robert, Frank, Christopher and John, and sisters; Mary Bell and Etha Gaunce.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road 506-646-2424. Following cremation, the interment service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Fernhill Cemetery. The procession will leave the funeral home parking lot at 10:55am. Following the interment service there will be a time of remembrance and fellowship at the Fundy Reception Room. Memorials can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
