Edward “Eddie” Richard Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward “Eddie” Joseph Richard on November 20, 2023, at Bobby’s Hospice at the age of 85. Born on September 2, 1938, in Rogersville, NB, he was the son of the late Alyre and Josephine (Martin) Richard.
Eddie is survived by his children Yvonne (Rob Saturnino) Richard and Michelle (Herb Thompson) Richard; grandchildren Leanne (Petter) Kristoffersen and Hilary (Josh) MacDonald; great-grandchildren Irelyn MacDonald and Sonora MacDonald; common law spouse Rhona Goguen and her children Ivan (Louise) Goguen, Kim (Charles) Williams, Brenda (Mark) Raynes and their families; brother Anthony (Emeraldine) Richard; sister-in-law Marie Richard and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Diane MacEachern; brothers Louis Richard, Leo (Alfreda) Richard, Alderic (Doreen) Richard, Elie (Adrianna) Richard, Aubert (Geneva) Richard; sisters Annette (Dolor) Richard, Ida Richard, and Cleopha Richard.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John. A private interment will be held at a later date. Donations in Eddie’s memory may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
