Gallant, Deborah Lynn
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah Lynn (Adams) Gallant, which occurred peacefully at her home on Friday, September 27th, 2024. Born on Dec 19, 1954 in Plaster Rock. She is the daughter of the late June Carol (Allaby) and Isaac Adams.
Deborah in her earlier years worked in retail. She was an amateur photographer and loved to take pictures. She enjoyed knitting and crafting of any kind, she collected carousel horses and loved her mustang but above all had a special place in her heart for all her grandchildren. Deborah loved each and everyone of them, Alex, Andy, Dom, Izzy, Jamie, Stacy, Hailey, Quinn, and Nicole. Very special mention to her cousin Judy Nice who was more like a best friend and long time friend John Lane. Deborah was the type that if she loved you, you knew it, but the same could be said about the opposite, you didn’t want to get on her bad side. She would often be heard saying “I don’t do stupid”.
Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 51 years David Gallant, her two sons Keith Adams (Suzanne) of Cody’s, NB, Frank Gallant (Shandra), of Alberta and her honorary son Bill Gallant. Her daughters Sue Parlee (Mark), of Hampton NB, Desiree Gallant (Shawn), of Willow Grove, and two honorary Daughters Trina Graves (Ian) of Hampton NB, and Christa Nice of Willow Grove. Deborah is also survived by her sister Kelly Gallant and many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Deborah was predeceased by her son Brian Gallant and brother in law Paul.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). Visitation will take place on Tuesday Oct 1, 2024 between 2-4 and 6-8. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Donations in Deborah’s memory made be made to the Atlantic Burn Camp for Children or to the charity of the donor’s choice
