Obituary
It is with heavy hearts the family of Dawn Emily Cochrane announces her passing, which occurred on October 25, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on February 28, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marjorie (Butland) Martin.
Dawn is survived by her partner of 32 years, Kelly Vautour; son Paul Cochrane; daughter Pamela Reyes; brothers Gerald (Lynda), Robert (Patricia) and William (Lynn); sisters Ceci Snow (Joel) and Brenda Martin; stepsiblings Richard Snow, Gail Snow and Sandra Ritchie (Daryl); grandchildren Jacob Cochrane, Caleb, David, Daniel, Simon, and Rachel Reyes, and Victoria Cochrane; great-grandchildren Juliana and Raina Cochrane, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Amanda Cochrane and her sisters Julie Martin-Burns and Pamela Martin.
Dawn was a devote Christian and was looking forward to going home to be with her loved ones. Her family celebrate her going to her reward and await a joyful reunion with her in heaven.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424) with visitation on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Fairfield Baptist Church, at 1:00 PM. Donations in Dawn’s memory to the Romero House or Joshua Group would be appreciated.
