Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of David Wayne Martin, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023. Born 1956, in Saint John, he is the son of the late Alfred and Vivian (Lee) Martin. David loved to go four-wheeling and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
David is survived by his daughter Riley Martin of Saint John; children Joshua Lloyd of Saint John, Timothy Lloyd of Rothesay, Thomas Lloyd of Saint John, Samantha Lloyd of Saint John and their mother Charlene Lloyd who the family would like to thank for her kindness and compassion; also Jacob and Hailey Carr of Sus and his first born daughter Mindy Thibodeau; brothers Kenneth Martin of Quispamsis, Steven Martin of Nova Scotia; sisters Patsy Martin, Linda Medrano, Debbie Landry and Joanne Johnson (Wayne) all of Saint John; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Along with his parents, David was predeceased by his wife Angela Martin and brother Alfred Martin.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). A Memorial Service will take place in the Fundy chapel on Monday, October 16th at 2 p.m. A private burial will be held at Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of David may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
