Cindy Fudge-Thorne Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Cindy Darlene Fudge-Thorne, which occurred peacefully on Monday, June 24th, 2024. Born on November 24th, 1961, in Saint John, she is the daughter of the late Merton and Eileen (Parfitt) Fudge. Cindy was a stay-at-home mother and during her later years was employed with Wyndham. She enjoyed going for drives, travelling and doing diamond art with her grandson Jaxon who was her pride and joy. Cindy cherished every moment spent with her family and friends and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Cindy is survived by her loving and devoted husband Jack Thorne of Saint John; daughter Kendra Duke (Corey) of Saint John and her adored grandson Jaxon; sisters Carol Dunn (Curtis) of Rothesay, Colleen Fudge (Kevin) of Saint John, Charlene Crowley (Tony) of Garnett Settlement; sister-in-law Donna; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends; life-long family friend Gloria Harley, Peter Debly, Craig and Wanda Lyons and special auntie to Amber and Zachary Lyons. Along with her parents, Cindy was predeceased by her brother Robbie.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Friday, June 28th from 1 to 2 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Cindy, may be made to the SJRH-Dialysis Unit.
