Carol Kilpatrick Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Carol Elizabeth (Watson) Kilpatrick, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. Born 1945, in Saint John, she is the daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Marshall) Watson. Carol was a dedicated stay at home mother, raising her 3 loving sons. Family was most important to her, she adored all children and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Carol is survived by her loving and devoted husband Donald of 58 years; sons Michael Donald Kilpatrick (Judy) of Rothesay, Andrew James Kilpatrick (Tracy) of Hampton, Robert Wayne Kilpatrick (Corinne) of Baxters Corner; siblings Lois McNeil of Saint John, Donna Watson of Rothesay, Charles Watson (Pat) of Quispamsis, Brice Watson (Lynne) of Saint John, Daryl Watson (Elsa) of Saint John, Trevor Watson (Shelley) of Saint John; brother-in-law Sonny Hughes of Saint John; grandchildren Abby, Owen, Alison, Whyatt and Wayland. Along with her parents, Carol was predeceased by her sisters Marilyn Whittaker (Walter), Phyllis Hughes, Joanne Moore (Joey), brother-in-law Ed McNeil and sister-in-law Della Watson.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Monday, January 8th from 12 to 2 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the Fundy chapel at 2 p.m. followed by an interment at St. Barnabas Cemetery in Barnesville. Donations in memory of Carol may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society, The Joshua Group, SJRH Palliative Care Unit or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
