Beverly Fournier Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Beverly Joan Fournier (Doucette) which occurred on June 4, 2024 after a very courageous battle with cancer at Bobby’s Hospice with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 21, 1959 in Saint John, NB. Beverly leaves behind her husband Douglas of almost 45 years, Mother Mary Doucette (Wilcox) along with her daughters Tanya (Shawn Creamer) and Crystal (Stephane Michaud). She had a special place in her heart for her grandsons Rene and Lucas. Remember Nanny loves you always and forever. Nanny is now your guardian angel and will be watching over you and remember I am always with you in your heart.
Beverly enjoyed reading she would read on her tablet but reverted back to an actual book as she said that the tablet was not the same. She also enjoyed spending time with her family no matter if it was a special occasion or just a quick drop in to say hi. She worked as a personal care aid for over 20 years for different agencies. The last agency she worked for was Joan’s health care.
Beverly also leaves behind her 5 brothers and 1 sister, David (Shawna) Doucette of Saint John, John (Virginia) Doucette of Quispamsis, James (Etta) Doucette of Saint John, Rodney (Bettie) Doucette of Saint John, Heather (John) Biggar Of Napeen, Ontario, Troy (Ronda) Doucette of Quispamsis. Along with her God children Sabrina and Cody but know she held a special place in her heart for all her neices and nephews. She is predeceased by her Father Beverley Henry Doucette.
The family would like to express a special thank you to all the staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital on 5AS and to all the staff at Bobby’s Hospice for taking such great care of our wife, daughter, mother, nanny, sister and Aunt. We can not express our gratitude for the care she received.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). Family and friends will be received on Friday June 7th, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life will take place in the Chapel on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, a donation of remembrance can be made to Bobby’s Hospice, would be appreciated by the family.
