Anthony Baxter Obituary
It is with broken hearts and great sadness the family of Anthony Shawn Russell Baxter announce his sudden passing, which occurred on Friday, February 16th, 2024. Born on January 27th, 1990, in Saint John, he is the son of Kim Buote (Dennis DesRoches) and Ronald Baxter (Bev Underhill). Anthony worked for the St. John St. Stephen Nursing Home and CRA. He was a social butterfly that would light up the room and he always put a smile on everyone’s face. Anthony was the life of the party and he loved music and singing. He had a great sense of humor, he would help anyone in need and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Along with his parents, Anthony is survived by his partner Graham Stephens of Sault Ste. Marie, ON.; brother Andrew Baxter of Saint John; sisters Amanda Baxter and Kennedy Carson both of Saint John; maternal grandparents Leonard Clark (Caroline) and Margaret Horsman; nieces & nephews Alexa, Alyvia, Ashton, Brooklyn, April, Andrew, Dominic; great-nephew Ryland; step-father Sam Buote; his dogs Stella & Stewie; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Anthony was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Ronald and Eleanor Baxter.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Friday, February 23rd from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place in the Fundy chapel on Saturday, February 24th at 2 p.m. Donations in memory of Anthony may be made to a Living Memorial.
