It is with sadness that we announce the
passing of Yvon Joseph Gallant, 79, of
Melrose, NB, at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday, September 22,
2024.
Yvon was born in Campbellton, NB on June
25, 1946, a son of the late Evangeline (Wilmot) and Edmond
Gallant.
Yvon will be dearly missed by his
sisters, Eileen Gallant, Melrose, Dianne Gallant, Moncton, and Doris
Johnson, Moncton; his brother Raymond (Noella), Lakeville, NB; his
nieces, Samantha McLenaghan, Moncton; Emma Johnson, Moncton, as well
as his nephews, Andrew Johnson, Moncton and Colby (Abby) McLenaghan,
Dartmouth, NS.
Besides his parents, Yvon was
predeceased by his brother Clement Gallant.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge
Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). A graveside service
for Yvon will be held at the St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Melrose, on
Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 11 am.
Donations in memory of Yvon may be made
to the St. Bartholomew Cemetery.
