It is with great sadness that we
announce the sudden passing of Travis Martin
Allen, 49, of Baie Verte, NB, on Friday, June 8,
2024. Travis was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Navy
for ten years. He was a Sonar Operator on the Ship
Athabaskan and on the Submarine Onadega until his
retirement.
Travis loved to hunt and fish and
enjoyed playing crib. He was a member of the Royal Canadian
Legion, Sackville and enjoyed talking with the seniors.
Travis never missed his morning drive to Allen’s Petro-Can to get his
tickets and then of to Tim Hortons. He was an avid church
goer and loved to greet all the people.
Travis will be sadly missed by his
mother, Linda Allen; his sister, Treena Allen; his daughter, Brooke
Allen, as well as his nephews, Cody, Brett, and Gabriel. He
was predeceased by his father, Seldon Allen.
Arrangements are under the care and
supervision of Jones Funeral Homes,
Sackville and Port Elgin, NB (506-364-1300). A funeral
service for Travis will be held from the St. James United Church, Baie
Verte, NB, at 2 pm on Thursday, June 13, 2024 with interment to follow
in the Bayfield Cemetery.

made to Brain Injury Canada or the Autism Society of
Canada
