Obituary of Gordon Calford Crossman
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon “Cal” Crossman, age 76, which occurred at the Villa Providence in Shediac, NB on Sunday, September 15, 2024.
Born on April 24, 1948 in Sackville, NB, he was the son of the late Beverly and Geneva (Wheaton) Crossman.
Cal loved going on walks and spent many hours enjoying the quiet strolls outdoors and one of his favorite things was his Tim Hortons. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Cal will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Eunice Laing and Margaret Crossman; his brothers, Roland (Barb) Crossman and Vern (Brenda) Crossman, as well as by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by his brothers, Charles Crossman and Jerry Crossman; his sister, Colleen Crossman; his infant brother, Merle Crossman, as well as his nephew, Logan Crossman.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (506) 364-8188. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 1 PM with Rev. Tim MacDonald officiating. The burial will take place in the Sackville Cemetery.
If so desired, donations in memory of Cal may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
