After a lengthy illness Bruce Douglas
Wall, 73, of Sackville, passed away at the Moncton
Hospital on Monday, May 27, 2004.
Bruce was born in Cape Tormentine, NB, the eldest son of
Shirley (Stright) Wall and the late Douglas Wall.
Bruce spent his early years as an “Army
Brat”, living those years in Manitoba and New Brunswick. After completing a welder’s
course, he moved to Ontario and spent the rest of his career there
until he was diagnosed with COPD. Bruce returned to New Brunswick
which he had always called home in 2014.
Bruce will be dearly missed by his mother, Shirley
Wall; his son, Gregory (Christina); two grandchildren, Carter and
Aria; his brother Darcy; his Aunt Elizabeth (Late Boyd) Leeworthy; his
uncle, Vance (Late Carol) Stright and a nephew, Josh, as well as
several cousins.
Besides his father, Douglas, Bruce was predeceased
by his brother, Martin and his nephew, Jeremy, as well as his aunt and
uncle, Patsy and Donald Trenholm.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of
Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street,
Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). Honouring Bruce’s wishes
cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral
services at this time A
graveside service will take place at a later date to be announced in
the Bayfield Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude
to the doctors and nurses of the ICU and on floors 4 & 5 at
the Moncton Hospital for their care, as well to Timothy &
Weston Jones and the staff of Jones Funeral Home for their compassion
and guidance. A
special thank you to his cousin Terry Lee for her love and care to our
family.
