Obituary of Brenda Marlene Lewis
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Marlene Lewis at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital at the age of 75.
Born on April 11, 1949 in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Ethel (Hope) Lewis.
Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Tammy Purdy (Todd MacLellan); her grandson, Blake Dauvin; her granddaughters, Ellie Dauvin and Paige MacLellan; her two sisters, Deborah Shea and Joyce (John) Barker; her sister-in-law, Barbara Lewis, as well as by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her son, Jeremy Purdy; her first husband, Dick Purdy; her brother, Harold Lewis, as well as by her brother-in-law, Everett Shea.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Brenda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service for her family will take place in the Dorchester Rural Cemetery.
If so desired, memorial donations in Brenda’s memory may be made to Christmas Cheer through the Tantramar Community Association or to the charity of one’s choice.
