Valeri Joseph Boudreau
1956 -2024
Valeri Boudreau, 67, of Moncton passed
away at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, May 6, 2024. Born in
Haute-Aboujagane, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and
Irène (Cormier) Boudreau.
He will be dearly missed by his son Mathieu (Gabriel) and
daughter Anise (Curtis); sister: Stella Belliveau (Paul); three
brothers: Mélas (Elva), Réginald (Marcella), and
Roger; his cherished grandchildren: Sara Rose, Roxane, Kai, and Henri;
one brother in-law: Norm Gautreau; as well as many nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends.
Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters:
Althéa Melanson (late Donat) and Marie Gautreau; one
brother: Emery.
He was a great father who gave his children the best
childhood; he was a soccer coach, he fundraised and built two amazing
playgrounds at his children’s elementary and middle school; he was an
inventor, self-learner, problem solver, and very creative; he was a
talented painter and had great carpentry skills; he was surprisingly a
great dancer; he had the best, corniest dad jokes/sense of humor and
was incredibly funny. He loved to laugh. He is deeply loved and
missed.
The family will receive condolences at Cobb’s
Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, NB on
Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. The funeral
mass will be celebrated at Église du Sacré
Coeur, Route 933, Haute-Aboujagane, NB on Friday, May 17, 2024, at
10:30 AM.
In memory of Valeri, a donation to the IWK
Children’s Hospital would be appreciated. The arrangements
are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center,
