It’s with broken hearts that we, the family of Shane
Dale Geldart (60) announce his passing on Thursday November 14th.
Shane had a profound love for football. He played in the Moncton Minor
Football league which led him to the Riverview Royals, where he was
the star running back from 79-82. His favorite team was the
Chargers.To this day, he lived for football.
He is survived by his sister and best friend, Cathy
Chapman (Tim), niece Christina (Warren), nephew Mathew (Gillian), and
great nieces, Willow, Eva and Olivia. Several aunts, uncles and
cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Dale and Sharon Geldart.
Special thanks go out to the individuals at Valley Redemption Centre
for always showing Shane kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations can
be made to the Humanity Project.
The family will be
receiving relatives and friends on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from
6:00pm to 8:00pm at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330
Whitepine Rd. Riverview (506-869-2007).
