Lloyd Hines of Lower
Coverdale passed away at his residence on June 21, 2024.
Born in Windsor, NS he was the son of the late Wilfred and Mildred
(White) Hines.
He was employed as an
Air Traffic Controller and after retirement became involved with ham
radio and drove a school bus. He volunteered hours with the
Moncton Food Bank and RCMP. In his leisure time, he enjoyed
travelling with his motorhome, cruising, ballroom dancing and
gardening. If you needed anything fixed, Lloyd was your
go-to guy!
He will be dearly
missed by his wife Beverly; sons Andrew (April), and Michael (June);
daughters Sherri Landry (Wayne), and Lynn; sisters Cora Lawrence,
Barbara Wyman (Michael), and Margaret Seeley (David). He is
also survived by grandchildren: David, Nicholas, Christopher,
Jonathan, Matthew, Daniel, Patricia, Sarah, Mark, Megan, and Hunter;
10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews.
Aside from his
parents, Lloyd was predeceased by a son David, in 1963.
In honouring
Lloyd’s wishes, there will be no service or
visitation. The interment will take place in St. Croix
Cemetery in Nova Scotia at a later date. Arrangements have
been entrusted to the care of Cobb’s Funeral Home and
Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview
(506-869-2007).
