With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Linda Bustin,
loving wife of Harold Bustin, into the presence of her Heavenly
Father, which occurred on February 12, 2024 at the Albert House
Hospice in Moncton.
Born in Sus and raised on a farm in Penobsquis she was the
daughter of the late Arthur and Marguerite Hawthorne. Linda dedicated
her life to raising her family and always put others ahead of herself.
She was also an avid sewer, enjoyed her craft business and Saturdays
spent at the Farmer’s Market. She loved gardening, spending
time working on puzzles and going on road trips.
Besides her husband Harold of 54 years, she will be greatly
missed by her daughter Candace Constantine, grandchildren Cameron
(Sophie), Alexandria, sister Joan Ryder (Eric), nieces Kerri-Lea
Ryder, Erika Thébeau (Julien), great niece & nephew
Eila and Louie. Also, brother-in-law Ted Bustin (Eleanor),
sister-in-law Thelma Bustin.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by their son Scott
and brother-in-law Wayne.
Respecting Linda’s wishes private visitation and
service will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home and
Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007). The
interment will take place in The Pioneer Cemetery, Penobsquis at a
later date. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the
memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
