It is with heavy
hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Kathryn Clark that
occurred September 30, 2024, at her residence in Riverview
N.B. Born in Saint John NB, she was the daughter of the Late
Mark and Mary (Duggan) Sullivan.
Kay will
be dearly missed by her sons: Brian (Rosalie), Paul (Sandra), and
Peter (Gayle); her daughters: Debbie, Janet (Steve) Kerzner, and Judy
(Dave) Parker; as well as her grandchildren: Melissa (John) Bennett,
Natasha (Sasha) Aksentijevic, Colin, Dan, Shawn, Cory, Rebecca
(Camryn) Pape, Adam Kerzner, Rachel Kerzner, and Brett Parker; and
great- grandchildren: Elijah, Isaiah, Madelyn and Luka. Kay will also
be remembered by her sisters, Ann Vautour and Margaret Record, as well
as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Kay was
predeceased by her sister, Doreen Mulholland, and her brothers John
and Harold.
Kay was a friendly,
familiar face at many Handi’s convenience store locations
for many years. She always had a smile for all she met, and her quick
wit and love of life brought about infectious laughter wherever she
went. In her spare time, Kay enjoyed baking, knitting and puzzles, but
her true focus was always her children.
The family will be
receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s funeral home 330
Whitepine Rd, Riverview, Friday October 4th, 5-8pm. Funeral Mass will
occur on Saturday October 5th, 11:30am, at
Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. The burial will take place at Saint
Joseph’s Cemetery in Saint John on Monday October
7th, 11:30am. Donations can be made to
Immaculate Heart of Mary Building Fund or Albert House Hospice.
The family would
like to extend special thanks to Extramural nurses, Suku Gurung and
Gwen Smith, who helped them care for their mother at
home.
