It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of
Jessica (Jessy) Mary Jones of Riverview, which occurred on Monday,
July 1, 2024. Born in Fredericton she was the daughter of Donna
Gorveatte and Peter Jones.
Jessica was a wonderful and caring person who gave so much to
so many and expected nothing in return. She enjoyed crafts, diamond
painting, and needlepoint to name a few. She had a genuine love for
animals and the children she worked with at Co-Aide Support
Services.
Besides her parents she will forever be in the heart of her
sister Rebecca Jones and her children (Donyea, Emma, and Peyton) who
she loved like her own, her maternal grandmother Shirley Gorveatte, as
well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A service honoring her life will take place from
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (506-869-2007) on Monday, July 8th at
11 AM, with Pastor David Way presiding. Donations to PAWS (formerly
the SPCA) would be appreciated by the family.
