Janice Chapman of
Riverview passed away on June 25, 2024. Born in Monton, she
was the daughter of the late Harry and Evelyn (Powers)
Phillips. She was formerly employed with the Bank of Nova
Scotia, Central Guaranteed Trust and TD Trust. She
volunteered with the Heart and Stroke Foundation; the Look Good
– Feel Good Program with the Canadian Cancer Society; and
also worked at Hillsborough Fashions helping to organize various
Fundraising Galas.
She will be dearly
missed by her husband Donald; daughter Angela (Trever); sons Jason
(Jen), and Jonathan (Joann); sister Theresa (Phillip); and brothers
Tim (Lynn), and Bill (Sharon).
She is also survived
by her grandchildren Meagan, Emily, McKenzie, Kayla, and Joshua; two
great grandchildren Paisley and Mason, as well as several nieces and
nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a sister
Shawnda and a brother Stuart.
The family will be
receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and
Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road Riverview (506-869-2007) on
Thursday, June 27th from 6:00 – 8:00
pm. A funeral service to celebrate Janice’s life
will be on Friday, June 28th at 11:00 am at the
Funeral home chapel. Donation may be made to the
Parkinson’s Foundation. Online condolences may be
