1945 – 2024
Helen (Holly) Johnson formerly of
Riverview and Glen Levit, NB passed away peacefully at Gordon Hall on
June 30, 2024. Born in Campbellton, NB she was the daughter of the
late Ephriam and Elizabeth (Thompson) Letourneau.
She split her adult
life between raising her family and working as an RNA in both
Riverview and Moncton. She loved, and was very involved, in the lives
of all her five grandchildren (Robert, Danielle, Eric, Mikael, and
Emma) and revelled in her five great grandchildren (Lucas, Zoey,
Olivia, Sophie, and Reid).
She was predeceased by
her husband Bruce, daughter Lynn, and sister Dawn. She will be dearly
missed by her sons Gordon (Tina), and Scott (Lisa); brothers Doug and
Jack, and sisters Shirley, Bobby, and Debbie, in addition many
lifelong and new friends alike.
Holly was a kind and
giving soul with a big heart, one that proved incredibly strong right
to the end. She had a way with people, especially her caregivers in
the past few years who are likely as distraught at her passing as
any.
Scott and Gordon would
like to thank the many family members who spent precious moments
visiting her in the past several weeks, and are especially grateful
for the staff, and her favourite mates at Gordon Hall who befriended
her and treated her so lovingly.
A gathering to share
memories will be held at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation
Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (506-869-2007) from 1:00
– 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
A gravesite service
and reception will take place in Glen Levit, NB in early August.
Details to follow. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be
greatly appreciated.
