Obituary of George (Jacko) Hébert
George (Jacko) Hébert, 87 of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, May 8, 2024. Born in Moncton a son of the late Joseph and Bibianne (Leger) Hébert.
George retired from NB Housing Corp. after a thirty-year career.
Survived by his wife and best friend of 67 years, Fern (Poirier) Hébert; three daughters, Bernice Leger (Francis) of Moncton, Diane Hébert (Gerry) Boundary Creek, Joanne Hébert Smith (Kevin) of Moncton; son, George Hébert (Jocelyne) of Moncton; five grandchildren, Lisa, Natasha, Kyle, Caitlin and Kody; five great-grandchildren; brother, Laurie Hébert (Huberte); three sisters, Dorise Saulnier (late Normand, Gerry) of Irishtown, Mary Boudreau (late Blair) of Forest Glen, Régina Hébert of Irishtown and adopted nephew, Laurie Hébert.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandsons, Keith, John and granddaughter, Rachelle; four sisters, Léona, Alice, Jeannette, Hélène; seven brothers, Eli, Emery, Roger, Gerard, Danny, Robert and Gerald.
In honor of George there will not be any funeral service held, the burial will take place at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB at a later date.
Donations in memory of George made to a living memorial would be appreciated by the family.
