It is with great sadness that we share the peaceful passing
of Eileen Atkinson of Riverview on January 15, 2024. Born in
Saint John she was the daughter of Freda Ward and the late Archie
Ward.
Eileen has done a lot in her life from nursing to working
retail; was the president of the Kinette Club of Riverview.
She was always helping or serving others. She was full of life
enjoying time spent with family and loved a good discussion.
Eileen was always the life of the party enjoying a good beverage,
making great food and was a generous soul spoiling those she
loved. Eileen will be missed by many.
She will be dearly missed by her mother Freda Ward; husband
David Atkinson; daughter Tiffany Ashton (Mark); son Darren Atkinson;
sister Ann Kelly (Jim); brothers Ernie Ward (Irene), Walter Ward
(Olive), Dale Ward (Sherri); granddaughter Madison Boudreau and
several nieces and nephews.
Respecting her wishes cremation has taken place at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (506-869-2007). Donations made to the
