Donald Jackson of
Moncton passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, at The Dr. Georges L.
Dumont University Hospital. Born in Weeks Ville, NC,
USA.
Prior to his
retirement, and moving to Canada, Don was a land surveyor. During his
spare time, he enjoyed being outside on the side of a river with a
fishing rod in his hand. Don loved the ocean and diving was
a favorite hobby as a young man. After retirement he enjoyed and
excelled at lapidary, turning rocks into beautiful jewelry; and as a
Texan, he enjoyed a day at the shooting range and was excellent
marksman.
He will be dearly
missed by his loving wife Darlene (Cudmore) Jackson, daughter Monica
Coggin, sons; Reid, Luke (Alexandra) and Cord; as well as his four
grandchildren.
Respecting his wishes
there will be no service. Cremation will take place at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (506-869-2007). Donation in his memory can be made to The
CHU Dumont Foundation.
