Dickie Brideau passed away peacefully on June 27, 2024. Born
in Montreal, PQ he was the son of the late Rose and Charles
Brideau.
Dickie Loved the Montreal Canadians and when asked why they
didn’t make the playoffs, would always answer “They are
rebuilding”.
Although he struggled with Essential Tremors, he was a hard
worker all of his life, until he happily retired.
He is survived by his sons Derek Brideau and Brian Bideau as
well as the mother of his boys Victoria Franklin, all of Longueuil
PQ.
He is also survived by his partner in adventure Darlene
Peters, her children Cory Peters and Kayla Ringl and was a pappy to
Kelita & Annabelle.
His siblings were Ernest, Shirley, Theresa & Patrick
and half siblings Tom, Opal, Eva, Claudia, Zelda, Lena, Ben, Charles
& Aurelle and well as numerous nieces and
nephews.
Dickie fought the fight but was tired and it was time to
leave this world as we know it. Rest easy now.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and
Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (506-869-2007). In lieu
of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the
donor’s choice.
