It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected
passing of Dan Wetmore of Riverview, which occurred Friday, January
19, 2024 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Halifax, he is the son of
Dave and Annette (Craig) Radtke.
Dan was a true and genuine sports enthusiast, who loved
hockey, tennis and football to name a few. He also loved The Simpsons,
horror movies and his holidays with family. He has been employed with
Purolator Courier for 27 years and was an International Specialist
with them. However, his true calling was on Saturday mornings at the
Moncton Farmers Market. Where he worked along side his son and Market
Family as the master grill chef at Kurt Sausage. His presence will
truly be missed on Saturday mornings.
Aside from his parents he will forever be in the hearts of
his wife Kim (Whittaker), son Zach (Audréane Potvin),
Sisters; Ashley Vasquez (Juan) and Melanie Radtke (Scott), father in
law Karl Whittaker, in laws Kellie and Scott Vail, Kevin and Marielle
Whittaker, niece Mackenzie and nephew Riley. Dan will also be missed
by his best fur friend Jessie Girl.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center on Tuesday from 2-4
and 6-8 PM. A service celebrating Dan’s life will take place
from the funeral home on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11am.
Donations to United Way would be appreciated by the
family.
