Angy Beatty of
Riverview passed away peacefully at the Maison Albert House on
Saturday, December 21st. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, she was the
first-born child to Phil Beatty and the late Flora
Beatty.
Angy lived and
breathed music, starting from a young age when she joined choir, and
got to travel to Europe to perform, to study music at Mount Allison
University, to rejoining choir again towards the end of her life. She
also took many trips over the years with friends to see different
performers including her favorite artist, Sting.
One of her other great
loves was dogs. Angy owned many dogs in her lifetime and doted on them
with the same affection as her children. She would take them hiking,
off leash walks in the woods, snowshoeing, running, camping, and even
biking. It was often joked by her two-legged children that her
four-legged babies were the favourite.
Angry was deeply
devoted to her family and worked hard to ensure she could provide for
them. While raising three small children she would travel back and
forth to Halifax on the weekends as she worked to get her
PMP. Years later her work ethic would allow her to become
COO of Datolite Solutions.
Angy had a deep sense
of adventure. She was never the one to sit still and relax and sought
adventures that she could share with those she loved. One of her
favourite things was finding unmarked trails off the beaten path to
explore.
Angy was deeply
devoted to the people in her life, going above and beyond for them.
There was nothing she wouldn’t do for those she loved.
Angy will be deeply
missed by her children Czarina, Zach and Skylar, her father
Phil, and by her dogs Zanzi, Ziggy and Marlyn, as well as
her many friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her mother
Flora, and her brother Duane.
The family
would like to thank staff of the Neurology wing of the Moncton
Hospital, the incredible staff at the Maison Albert Hospice house, Dr.
Charest, and Dr. Ironside who helped and cared for our mom through
this difficult journey.
Her family will be
receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and
Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (506-869-2007) from
6-8pm on January 2nd, 2025 with the memorial service January 3rd at
11am with Venerable Brent Ham presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations
to the People for Animal Wellbeing (PAW) formerly (SPCA) would be
appreciated by the family.
