Dr. John DeMarsh
1952-2024
Following a lengthy illness, Dr. John Gordon DeMarsh of Plaster Rock,
NB, passed away peacefully at the Tobique Valley Manor on April 11,
2024.
John was born in Toronto, ON, on November 17, 1952. he was the son of
Edna Ward and the late Roy DeMarsh. Besides his mother who lives in
Stanley, NB, John leaves behind his loving wife, Katheryn DeMarsh
(Saunders); his children, Alex DeMarsh (Lauren) of Ottawa, ON, Stephen
DeMarsh (Eva) of Ningbo, China, Andrew DeMarsh of Toronto, ON, Lilly
Forsythe of Prince Edward Island, Thomas Forsythe (Drew) of Prince
Edward Island; his grandchildren, Eli, Rozland, Nathan, and Mae; his
sisters, Barbara DeMarsh (Greg) of Lower Sackville, NB, and Helen
DeMarsh (Maury) of Chelsea, QC; his sister-in-law, Jean DeMarsh of
Taymouth, NB.
John was predeceased by his father and his brother, Peter
DeMarsh.
Respecting John’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral held.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
