Ruth Duffey Obituary
Ruth M. Duffey passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Joan (Cragg) Duffey.
After many years of service, Ruth retired from The Moncton Hospital, Administration. She was a parishioner of St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the CWL. After retirement she volunteered at The Moncton Hospital and other local organizations.
Ruth will be dearly missed by her sister Margaret (Peggy) Desabrais (Anthony) of Mississauga, Ontario, nieces Clare Farrington (Mark) of Nassau, Bahamas, Jennifer Desabrais of Toronto, Ontario, and great niece and nephew Grace and Will Farrington of Nassau, Bahamas.
A Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the parish hall. Interment Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
In memory of Ruth, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church Building Fund.
