Ruby Perry Obituary
Rebecca “Ruby” Perry, 90, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, March 22, 2024. Born in Joggins, NS, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Clara (Cormier) St. Peters.
Ruby retired after many years with the T. Eaton Co. She was a dedicated and faithful member of St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, where she served on the CWL and taught catechism. She enjoyed bowling, crib, camping and travelling, and has travelled to many destinations in Canada, USA, Europe and the Caribbean. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Michael Perry, Gregory Perry (Helen), Donna Williams (Mark) Peter Perry (Charlene), Angela Davis (Greg) David Perry (Carol), Stephen Perry (Heather); grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, Ashley, Tim, Travis, Keith, Matthew, Chantel, Rachelle, Sean, Sarah, Sean, Kathryn, Keirsten, Jack and Abby; great grandchildren, Bridget, Ben, Charlotte, Cohen, Khael, Declan, Michael, Chase, Veda, Rudy, James, Emmett, Dean, Isabella, Brandon, Anna,Malec and Elodie; as well as a great great granddaughter, Athena
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Francis Perry; great grandson, Rhys; daughter in law, Nadine; and siblings, Mamie, Patricia, Rita, Bernie and Freddie.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11:00 am from St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church (Botsford St). A reception will follow in the Church Hall. Interment will be held in Joggins, NS.
The family would like to thank the management, staff and residents of McNair Manor in Moncton who provided a home full of friends and love for mom where she was very happy in her final years.
We would also like to acknowledge the excellent care mom received from the emergency room staff and the staff of 4100 at the Moncton Hospital.
