Roberta Masson, 93, of Auberge du Soleil in Dieppe and
formerly of Marjorie Street in Moncton, passed away on Tuesday October
15, 2024 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was
the daughter of the late Lionel and Laura (LeBlanc)
LeBlanc.
Prior to her retirement, Roberta worked at Marven’s
and Eaton’s.
She is survived by one son, David (Jill) of Halifax, NS; one
grandson, Brennan; two sisters: Dorilla (late Raymond) of Joliette,
QC, and Claudette Bourgeois (late Donald) of Moncton; one
sister-in-law, Monique of Moncton; as well as her nieces and
nephew.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Francis, and one brother, Ronald.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Sunday
from 2 to 4 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady
of Assumption Cathedral, 220 St. George Street, Moncton on Monday
October 21 at 11 am. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery
in Dieppe. In memory of Roberta, a contribution to CHU Dumont
Foundation or the Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral would be
appreciated.
