Paul Babineau, 82, of Dieppe,
passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday December 25,
2024 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Notre-Dame, he was the
son of the late Arthur and Henriette (Bourque)
Babineau.
He is survived by his special
friend, Rosella Gaudet; four children: Jean-Claude, Lise Babineau
(late Francis), Daniel (Annie LeBlanc) and Nicole Poirier
(Réjean); one granddaughter, Danica; as well as many nieces
and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate
family.
He was predeceased by his wife,
Laurise; three sisters: Lucille, Jeannette and Rachel; and one
brother, Zéphir.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Monday
December 30 from 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated
at
Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus
church, 457 Acadie Avenue, Dieppe on Tuesday December 31, at 10:30 am.
Interment will be in Frenette Columbarium, Moncton. In memory of Paul,
a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) or Diabetes
Canada would be appreciated.
