Neil McKay Fraser Obituary
Neil M. Fraser, 85, of Dieppe, surrounded by loved ones, passed away peacefully at Maison Albert House, Moncton on Sunday, February 18, 2024. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late A. McKay and Clara (Irving) Fraser.
Neil was retired from Lounsbury Furniture as a Service Technician with over 40 years service. He was a faithful member of St. John’s United Church, loved his time spent in the church choir and he served his church in various capacities over the years. He loved spending time with family and friends at the Family Cottage in Edgewater. Neil loved to keep himself busy tinkering around the yard with the tractor and was always available to lend a helping hand to family and friends.
Neil will be sadly missed by his loving children, Darren Fraser (Dawn) of Fredericton and Debbie MacDonald (John) of Dieppe; cherished grandchildren, Connor MacDonald (Mika), Graydon Fraser and Maddison Fraser; several extended family members.
In addition to his parents, Neil was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Mae Fraser (March 2018) and his brother, Owen Fraser (June 2016).
Visitation will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to Celebrate and Honour Neil’s Life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11:00 am with The Rev. Aaron Billard leading the service. Reception to follow. Interment to be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
