Nasrin Mahmoodzadeh Ghaeini Obituary
Nasrin Mahmoodzadeh Ghaeini, 79, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the Moncton Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Iran, she was the daughter of the late Behrooz and Nategheh.
Nasrin was a kindergarten teacher, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devoted member of the Moncton Bahá’í Community. Nasrin enjoyed spending time with family, watching movies, knitting, and trying new cuisines.
Nasrin is survived by her son Dr. Tooraj Shakerinia (Kristin Farnam) and daughter Shahla Shakerinia (John McLaughlin) and her grandchildren Sharah, Darian, Kian and Nika.
Nasrin was predeceased by her husband, Yadollah Shakerinia, her son Koorosh Shakerinia, and her daughter, Sharareh Shakerinia.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton, NB (506-858-1995). A family service and interment were held at the Stilesville Cemetery on Thursday, August 15.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of The Briarlea on Ryan senior living facility for their exceptional care over the past five years. The family would also like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Moncton Hospital Neuro ICU for the care provided to Nasrin during her recent hospitalization.
