Marjorie Kelly Obituary
Marjorie Kelly, 84, of Moncton, passed away within the comforts of her home on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Byron and Hilda (Horsman) Kelly.
Marjorie worked for Irving Oil for over 30 years as an Administrative Assistant. She was a dedicated and faithful member of the former Steeves Memorial Church, where she taught Sunday school and served as the church treasurer. She was a leader of the CGIT group. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and will be remembered for her delicious rolls. Marjorie was a selfless caregiver for her mother and her sister Sheila giving them comfort and support in their times of greatest need. She was thoughtful and caring with friends and family, always with a smile, a kind gesture and contagious laughter.
She will be sadly missed by her sister, Sheila Kelly; brothers, Walter Kelly (Freda) and Myron Kelly (late Margaret); nieces and nephews, Cathy, Kevin, Connie, Ellen, Owen, Joy, Shawn and Cheryl; as well as several great nieces and nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Mabel and Glendine and brothers Charles and Burton.
A Service to Celebrate and Honour Marjorie’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 1:30 pm. A reception will follow in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment will take place at a later date in Stilesville Cemetery.
