Maria Belliveau, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday March
27, 2024 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, at the age of 90 years and
11 months. Born in St-Paul, she was the daughter of the late Alban and
Sara (Cormier) Belliveau.
A dedicated member of the Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix, Maria served
in various capacities over the years such as choir director and
sacristan, to name a few.
She is survived by her one sister, Sr. Norma Belliveau ndsc
of Moncton; one brother, Normand of New Hampshire; as well as several
nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by eight sisters:
Mable, Edmée, Thérèse, Marie, Rose,
Aline, Dorice and Stella; as well as three brothers: Laurie,
Gérald and Roger.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Thursday
from 7 to 9pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at
Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix church, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton on Friday
April 5 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Saint-Paul-de-Kent parish
cemetery. In memory of Maria, a contribution to the parish of
Saint-Paul-de-Kent, the House of Nazareth or a charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated.
