Marguerite Bastarache, 84, of
Dieppe, passed away on Thursday August 8, 2024 at her residence. Born
in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Onésime and
Marguerite (Bastarache) Bastarache.
She enjoyed spending time with her friends, listening to
music and playing bingo.
She will be sadly missed by her special niece, Charline
Belliveau (Arthur Meunier Junior); as well as many nieces, nephews,
cousins, and friends. She was the last surviving member of her
immediate family.
She was predeceased by three brothers: Ulysse,
Gérard, and Léo; and five sisters: Imelda,
Jeanne, Régina, Edna, and Sylvia.
There will be no visitation and no funeral service. Interment
will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of
Marguerite, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s
choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the
professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton
(506-858-1900).
