Margaret “Nina” Meunier Obituary
Margaret “Nina” Meunier, 84, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Sunday, December 29, 2024. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Clifford “Dick’ and Anita (nee Blackier) Meunier.
Nina spent many years teaching ballroom dancing, which she loved. She enjoyed doing puzzles, crosswords, going out to eat and watching baseball, especially the Toronto Blue Jays!
She will be sadly missed by her children, Marc Cormier (Rose), Jocelyne Cormier-Paige (Jason) and Joanne Cormier (Owen); grandchildren, Brandon (Joni), Bradley, Amelie and Simon; sister, Joanne Meunier; and brothers, Roger “Herbie” Meunier (Maxine) and Clifford “Sonny” Meunier.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Carol Ann Meunier.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed immediately by a Funeral Liturgy at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Reception will follow in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment will be held in the spring at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
