Louis “Baba” Boudreau, 71, of Moncton, passed away
on Wednesday April 10, 2024 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton,
he was the son of the late Gérald and Yvonne (Arsenault)
Boudreau.
Prior to his retirement, Louis was a boiler maker at CN. In
his later years, Louis became an avid fisherman, spending numerous
hours on the water with his friends.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Phyllis (Bourgeois);
two children: Janice Paquette (Jon) and Daniel (Robert); two
grandsons: Logan and Aaron; one sister, Bernice Boudreau; one
sister-in-law, Sylvia Arsenault; as well as his nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one son,
Jean-Marc; one sister, Jeannette; and one brother,
Ronald.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) from where
the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday April 15 at 11 am.
Visiting hours are Monday from 10 am until time of funeral. In memory
of Louis, a contribution to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital
Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
