Leonard Arsenault, 79, of Renous and formerly of Irishtown,
passed away on Tuesday September 17, 2024 at The Miramichi Regional
Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Ernest and Clara
(Arsenault) Arsenault.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia (Doiron);
four children: Denis (Becky), Carole, Paul (Brandi), and Joanne
Pellerin (Jeff); five grandchildren: Mathieu, Nathalie, Scott,
Jessica, and Aiden; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters: Bernice
LeBlanc (late Edouard) of Barrie, ON, Rita Arsenault (late Francis
Mercure) of Moncton, and Claudette Babineau (Gérald) of
Notre-Dame; one brother, Eric (late Marie) of British Columbia; one
sister-in-law, Theresa Arsenault of Moncton; as well as several nieces
and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers: Alcide and
Ivan.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday September 25 at 3 pm.
Visiting hours are Wednesday from 1 pm until time of funeral. In
memory of Leonard, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society or
N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
