It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Wayne Steeves of Moncton, that occurred on Thursday, June 20th, 2024, at the Moncton Albert Hospice House.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Ron Steeves and the late Marjorie (Vibert) Steeves.
Prior to his retirement, Wayne worked for Martin Brower for 25 years.
Wayne was truly a good man. He loved his family and friends very much.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne (née: Fougère); his son, Travis Steeves of Moncton; his stepson, Dave Fougère (Marielle) of Grande-Digue; his step-granddaughter, Josée Thibodeau; his three sisters: Brenda Steeves, and Beverley McIntosh both of Moncton, and Crystal Corey (Jeff) of Canaan; as well as his extended family.
Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his parents-in-law: Marcel and Virginie Fougère.
Private visitation will be held.
To my Brother in-law Fernand Leger
