It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stella Cormier, 96, on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Gardner, MA, on March 24th, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Jeanne Cormier (LeBlanc).
Stella is survived by her daughter, Pauline Cormier (Oscar) of Hubbardston, MA; her son, Norman Cormier of Weare, NH; her 4 grandchildren; her 8 great-grandchildren; her brothers: André, Emile, and Aubrey; her sisters: Nelida (late Gerard) Savoie, Bernice (André) Bastarache, Marie (late Romeo) Bastarache, and Edith (late Normand) Daigle; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Arthur; her son, Alfred (Denise); and her brothers: Clarence, Rheal, Angelo, Hervé, Henri, and Bernard.
Services will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Stella can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer Society.
