Grande-Digue, NB – Jeanne Bourgeois, 97, passed away peacefully at the Villa du Repos in Moncton, Thursday, June 20, 2024.
Born in Dupuis Corner, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alphée and the late Adèle Doiron (LeBlanc).
Jeanne will be greatly missed by her children: Omer (late Paul-Émile Surette), Ovila (Dianne), Andréa Breau (Jules) and Jeannette Chandler (Kirk Chandler); her sisters: Évangéline and Auréa; her grandchildren: Yves, Serge, Marc, Daniel, Joël, Shawn and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband: Albert Bourgeois, her brothers and sisters: Ola, Adrice, Laurida, Ovila, Alcide, Laura, Évangéline, Camille, Diana, Delphine, Henri, Léandre and Alphée.
The visitation will take place at Passage (3754, Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB), on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:40 p.m. The funeral will follow at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue at 3:00 p.m. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery where she will rest in peace with her husband.
