September 12th, 1950 ~ February 18th, 2024
It is with great sadness that I must announce the passing of my husband, best friend, and soulmate, David Pesklevy, at the age of 73, after a long battle with cancer.
He was predeceased by his father, Steve Pesklevy; his mother, Martha Walthers; his stepfather, Jack Walthers; two infant sons: Micheal and Robert; and their mother, Heather.
Dave is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Carm; his pup, Sadie; three daughters: Amanda (Ian Huynh), Jennifer (Clarence), and Tanya; two stepdaughters: Michelle and Melissa (Brian); seven grandchildren: Edmond, Lucas, Olivia, Elizabeth, Ruby, Elder, and Maddison; four stepbrothers: Richard (Rachell), Gary (Debbie), Jamie (Sharon), and Danny; as well as his cousin, Janet Pesklevy.
Dave took great joy as a father and grandfather. He remained active through his cancer battle, never giving up hope for another better day. He owned his own autobody shop “Cape Auto Body”, in Shediac Cape, for 46 years, and took great pride in his work. He was always there for anyone needing work on their vehicle or just a friendly ear. Couldn’t ask for a better husband, father, grandfather, friend, and neighbor.
A celebration of life for Dave will be held at Young Smith Hall (3400 Route134, Shediac Cape) on Sunday, July 28th, 2024, at 2:00pm.
Donations in memory of Dave can be made to the Moncton SPCA (PAW).
