Alderice LeBlanc, 86, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday, December 21st, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Hector and the late Alma (Donelle) LeBlanc.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Traynor; by his sons: Donald LeBlanc (Lynda) of Montreal, and Peter LeBlanc (Lynette) of Moncton; by his daughter-in-law, Lorraine LeBlanc (late Marc) of Moncton; by his step-daughter, Shannon Stright (Randy) of Bayfield, NB; by his step-sons: Jason Traynor (Lisa) and Troy Traynor (Carol), both of Oshawa, ON and Trevor Traynor (Misty) of Kincardine, ON; by his sister, Lina Badman (Martin) of Moncton; by his brother, Clarence LeBlanc of Boston, Massachussetts; by his grandchildren: Dominic, David, Luc, Michael, Nicolas, Julien, Janique and Catherine; several great grandchildren; several step-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his 1st wife, Louise (Burke) LeBlanc in 2014; by his son, Marc LeBlanc in 2022 and by his sisters: Marianne and Florence.
A private visitation will be held with close family and friends only.
Interment will be in La Visitation Parish Cemetery, Grande-Digue, NB in the spring of 2024.
In Alderice’s memory, a donation can be made to the Moncton SPCA or to the CHU-Dumont Foundation “Oncology”.
