Hazel Moore Obituary
Hazel A. Moore, 104, of Grass Home Riverview, passed away peacefully within the comforts of her residence on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late Harold and Barbara (Mason) Brownhill.
Hazel was a long-time member of Mountain View United Church, having served her church in various capacities over the years and was a retired Piano Teacher. She was Past President of the Ladies Division of Moncton Golf and Country Club, Moncton Music Teachers Association and member of The Centennial Lawn Bowling League and Moncton Lions Senior’s Group.
Hazel will be sadly missed by her loving sons, David (Margaret) Moore of Salisbury and Dr. Richard (Barbara) Moore of Toronto, ON; cherished grandchildren, Andy Moore (Sarah), Amy Robins (Matthew) and Geoff Livingston (Kayla); great grandchildren, Kaitlin McDonald (Corey), Nicholas Robins, Kathryn Robins, Jack Moore and Maren Moore; great great granddaughter, Brady McDonald; many extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Hazel was predeceased by her husband, John “Jack” Moore (1991); daughter, Diane Moore (2003); brothers, Donald and Harold and sisters, Roberta and Eugenie.
A Service to Celebrate and Honour Hazel’s Life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) on August 26, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow the service.
